Registration for the 2010 Junior Golf Season has been extended.

Register today by clicking HERE or on the Register for a Sport link on the left side menu.

REGISTER NOW.....Registration ends February 28th.

PLEASE NOTE:

There is a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday March 2nd and Wednesday March 3rd at 7:30pm in the Church hall.

Please attend one of the meetings to discuss the upcoming golf program, CYC participation, scheduled match play, practice times, courses, fees etc.

The South County Golf League is wanting QAS to be part of their league. (South County Golf League includes St. Francis, Assumption, St Catherine and St Joesph). With this league comes quite a few changes from last years' program which are outlined below.

• 3rd and 4th grade will be considered intramural. (no keeping score or competitive play)
• 5th-8th grades will keep score and compete against the other South County parishes. The 5th-8th graders will still be able to play with their friends while posting a score card to be recorded and compared to players from the other parishes.
• The cost of registration is $35 which will include a QAS golf shirt / towel and cover the mandatory insurance.
• This year the golf pro (Dean) is asking for the seven practice dates to be paid up front which will total $49 per player. Additionally, each player will be responsible for a First Tee Golf Card which will be used to purchase balls for practice times. Each player will spend approximately $6.00 for golf balls per practice session.
• The 3rd and 4th graders will have four matches scheduled to be played at Tower Tee and/or Riverside. Each match will cost $8 per player.
• The 5th-8th graders will have six matches that will be played at Tower Tee and/or Riverside and cost $8 per player as well.

If QAS ends up with a large registration similar to last year which was 91 kids, we may have to play independently of the other parishes. If we are on our own, we will schedule 3rd-8th graders at Yorktown Golf Course.

Please email Jeff Heib with any questions or concerns.
