GENERAL
Who runs the QASAA?
QASAA is run by an executive board, sport and referee directors, facility managers, and communications. Board members are volunteers from the community. For more information or to contact a board member, please see Contacts.
How can I volunteer?
If you are interested in joining the Queen of All Saints Athletic Association (QASAA), please contact our president
If you are interested in volunteering as a coach, you must meet all CYC Requirements. CYC sports start in 3rd grade for all sports except for soccer and T-Ball, which start in Pre-K. You can find out more about the coaching requirements, here
You will also need to register as a volunteer for the appropriate sport/grade. The lay director for the sport will be in contact with you to ensure you have met the requirements and get you setup with a team.

Registration
How do I register?
We now register through the QASAA TeamSideline website. Add the TeamSideline app on your mobile device for easy access to your team roster, schedules, emails, and chat features.
When are registrations and seasons for a sport?
Check out the Sports page for information by sport.
I am late, can I still sign up?
This situation varies depending on the timing and if there are waitlists for the grade you are signing up for. The best opportunity is to contact the lay director for the sport you are interested in to see if you can still sign up. A late fee could be applicable
What is the refund policy?
All requests for refunds must be submitted via email to the appropriate sport’s Lay Director indicating the reason for the refund.
If a child cannot be placed on a QAS team, registration fees are fully refunded and work duty is excused.
Requests for refunds before team formation is complete will receive a full refund, less a $20 administration fee, and work duty will be excused. Team formation is considered complete once rosters are officially submitted to the CYC South County District.
After team formation is complete, no refunds will be granted, save in the case of season-ending injury or illness. Such refunds will be pro-rated based on the number of games played. Work duty will be excused.
Other circumstances not explicitly listed may qualify for partial or full refund. Registrants should submit a formal request through the appropriate sport's Lay Director for consideration by the QASAA board.
How and when do I return the uniform?
All uniforms must be returned at the designated date and time that will be communicated by the Uniform Manager once the season is complete. Uniforms must be returned in person. Typically, QASAA hold 3 return events at the QAS concession stand.
Note for CYC uniforms, if not returned by date set by the Uniform Manager, your acocunt will be locked for further athletic registration.
Do I need a CYC Card?
CYC cards are no longer needed. You will upload a photo of your child when registering for a CYC sport and that is used with the roster for player verification.
Can my child play with their friend?
The construction of individual teams is done in a manner which maximizes participant interaction and playing time. To accomplish this, players are randomly placed on teams, if there is more than one team available based on registration. For more info please see the QASAA Team Formation policy

Our home games are held at QAS Fields or the QAS Gym. Away games are held at various fields and gyms in the area. Golf match locations can vary and will be communicated by the lay sports director.
When and how often are games and practices?
How often practices happen varies and is dependent upon the year, sport, coach, and other factors. You will always have at least 1 practice a week through the season. You will typically have about 10 games in a season.
The timing of practices and games follows this general schedule, but can vary depending on the coach's scheduling. In the end, the coach will set the schedule for practices and communicate with you. The exact day/time of practice will not be known until registration is complete, teams are set, and practice times have been chosen by coaches.
Soccer - practices are typically on weekdays. Games are typically weekends. Games are held Friday - Sunday
Volleyball - practices are typically on weekdays or Sunday. Games are typically weekends. Games are held Friday - Sunday
Basketball - practices are typically on weekdays or Sunday. Games are typically weekends. Games are held Friday - Sunday.
Baseball/Softball/T-ball - practices can be on the weekend and/or weeknights. Games are typically weeknights, but can be on the weekends once you are in the playoffs (5th-8th grade).
Golf - practices are typically on a weekday. Matches are typically weekends.
Where do I find my game schedule?
Leverage the TeamSideline app on your mobile device. The coach will load the game schedule in the app when it is made available to them by CYC.
How do I know if games are cancelled?
This is most common during baseball season, but soccer can be cancelled on occasion as well. Usually your coach will communicate with you, but you can also check our field status page. Make sure you are checking the field that your game will be played on. Please know that this site defaults to "All games will be played" every day so you will need to check back often to see updates. For example: a baseball game that starts at 6 may not show cancelled up until 4:30PM.
What equipment does my child need?
You will be provided with a jersey/shirt for the sport you sign up for, in most cases. Each sport has different equipment requirements and the coach may request matching shorts/pants, socks, etc. Check out what we offer for sport specific equipment requirements on our Sports page.
