What if I have a scheduling conflict?
Turn in any Conflicts during your team registration. Email any additional conflicts to the tournament director prior to scheduling; scheduling will begin 2 weeks before the tournament starts. DO NOT ASK FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND OF March 7th or 8th OFF or an entire Saturday or Sunday as we cannot accommodate. We try our best to accommodate all conflicts but can’t guarantee all conflicts can be accommodated, especially non school events
Where can I find more information about the tournament?
Visit Team Sideline
How is the tournament structured?
We try and make up competitive brackets of sixteen teams. Teams will be seeded based on season records. First round winners will advance to the Champions Flight Bracket. First round non-winners will enter a Consolation Flight Bracket. All teams will play at least two games. The tournament consolation champions will receive medals. Championship Bracket First-Third place will receive trophies, and Fourth place will receive medals.
Will I receive more information after I register?
Yes. Each Head Coach will receive an email before the tournament outlining particulars. The coach may forward the info to parents and other coaches
May I register more than one team?
Yes. Any parish may register more than one team per grade
What are the rules regarding rosters?
With the change CYC has made regarding dual rosters, each team may bring two guest players that are currently enrolled in CYC and on an active roster from the same parish that the players will be guest playing on. A guest player form will be provided and must be filled out along with a copy of the roster from which the players are currently playing for. All rosters and guest forms must be emailed 24 hours prior to the team’s first game or else the team will forfeit. All rosters turned in must be CYC approved. Any teams caught tampering with rosters or playing with an illegal player will be removed from the tournament and a refund will not be issued. No exceptions will be made
May I register now and pay by check?
Yes, but we prefer you pay online. However, for those with parish AA’s who provide the check you should apply online and reach out to Michael Schmidt (314-401-4997 or email basketball-tourney@qasaa.org) about paying with a check. All checks should be made out to Queen of All Saints Activities Association.
